Power BI Dataflow - entity not found

Hi Champs,

I am trying to build  a link table dataflow. When I use the dataflow in services to create another dataflow, it works perfectly fine but when I save and refresh the  dataflow it shows me error as  below ;

: dataflow 'xxxxxxx ds xx8' entity ' xxxxxxx ' was not found.

some times it shows error as  :

DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Encountered user error executing direct query

I am not sure where's the issue is. I tried multiple time but still the refresh fails.    Do anyone here faced the same issue.

  • Validate Dataflow References:

    • Open the dataflow in Power BI Service.
    • Ensure that all data sources and linked dataflows are correctly referenced and accessible.
  • Check and Update Credentials:

    • Go to Settings > Dataflows in your Power BI workspace.
    • Ensure credentials for each data source are up to date and valid.
  • Simplify the Dataflow:

    • Open the dataflow and simplify it by removing some transformations.
    • Save and refresh the dataflow after each change to identify which step is causing the issue.
  • Review Refresh History:

    • Go to the dataflow in Power BI Service.
    • Click on More options (...) and select Refresh history.
    • Review the error details provided.
  • Ensure Data Source Compatibility:

    • If using Direct Query, ensure your data source supports Direct Query and that you’re not hitting any limitations.
