Power BI Data volumes

Hi all

 

Assume, I have a semantic data model for about 100 GB daily that is loaded into Power BI premium for reporting/dashboard purposes. So the data is served all from its memory. If the data sizes go to 200 GB, 300 GB, 400 GB, 500 GB, or more. What are my options in each case?

    HI Anonymous ,

     

    You will need to get with your Microsoft licensing specialist about purchasing but at a model size of 400 GB you are looking at Power BI Premium Per Capacity which allows for up to 100 TB storage.

    Hi,

      Just try to understand bit more. You mean you will have Power BI dataset size around 400GB (memory) or more ?  As collinq stated, we will get more storage 100TB but memory is limited for each premium capacity node. P5 node has 400 GB which is the max as per the product. You also check with Microsoft team and see the possible options on this case.
