Power BI Dashboard is not visible to some users in Power Apps

We have created an application in Power Apps and connected a Power BI dashboard.

Actions Taken to Integrated Power BI Dashboard:

• Edit Power BI Manage Connections and Gateway to connect Dashboard to dataverse.
• Under connections tabs, I selected the environment URL created (this is connected to Dataverse) then clicked settings and filled up the information needed.

After the steps taken the Power BI dashboard was successfully integrated into the Power Apps.

Issue: External users can access the application but they can't view the dashboard although they have a Power Apps Pro license and a Power BI basic license.

Please let us know if there is a known issue regarding this and if this is related to Microsoft licensing.

Based on the description, try using another browser.

Then, check that the power bi dashboard is correctly within Power Apps, with the appropriate settings.

• Double-check permissions in the Power BI workspace and ensure external users are explicitly granted access to the reports.
• Share the report directly with the external users to ensure they have access at the report level.
• Ensure Dataverse permissions allow the external users to view the underlying data.
• Verify that tenant settings do not restrict external users from viewing embedded content in Power Apps.

Is that dashboard tile coming from a workspace or an app?

Do they have a Pro license?

the external user only have basic license in power bi

This will only work if all of the below has happened.

- you share the app from a Premium workspace

- the have been invited as external guest users to the AD

- they have accepted the invite

- they have been given the app link

- they have clicked the app link at least once.

I have done all these steps, in the last requirement, should they also have open or login in the power BI service atleast once?
