Power BI DashBoard Filter

Hi, All   I'm new to power bi dashboard, so please help me with any advice. Is there any way to make or add filter on dashboard?   Any help will be appreciated in advance. Thanks.

    Anonymous 

    You cannot have slicer or filters to your dashboard for interactivity. I would suggestion you to use "Pin Live Page". You can pin the whole report page to dashboard including slicers to make it interactive.

Hi Anonymous 

 

Looks like you are coming from Tableau background. In Power BI you cannot put slicers/filters on a dashboard. You can, however, filter in the report and pin the corresponding filtered tile/chart.

 

Think dashboard as the entry point or a way to get you quick information without having you to click or interact.
