I was able to resolve error realated to "not able to write to eventlog" by giving NT SERVICE\PBIEgwservice admin rights. Below is the log from latest attempt. This does not show any error but I am still getting error while adding analysis service data source. Can this be realted to permission? The user I am trying to connect with has Server Adminstrator role granted to it at SSAS Instance.
