Power BI Analysis Services Connector Issues
Hi Fellows,
I am new to this and getting below error when I am trying to add a data source to new Power Bi enterprise gateway. I have checked user has correct permissions and I am using FQDN for server and user.
Can it be realted to ports, do we need to open the ports listed here "https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-gateway-enterprise/#ports" on server as well or just where enterprise gateway is installed.

Is the error showing "******"? or did you add it to hide your server name? If the error is showing this then I think I know what the problem is. If not, what do you see in the Gateway logs?C:\Users\PBIEgwService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Enterprise Gateway\EnterpriseGateway*.log

That was to hide the server. Below is the log, not sure what to check in it. I read about UPN yesterday that Power BI connects to SSAS server using the login name in app.powerbi . Can that be the issue ?

Can you try adding it again? Is this the only file in the logs' folder?
