Hi team
I work with many clients on their Power Platforms and I always get asked to do a review of their Power BI tenancy settings.
I have a client who has added my company email as an Azure AD Guest Account and added me to the Power BI Administrators role. I have the URL to their tenancy and they have added a premium per-user license to my guest account.
I can access the URL to get to their tenancy but do not have the settings cog to gain access to the admin portal.
Can someone please help or tell me why? I can't seem to find anything on the net about it.
Its very frustrating, Id rather not have 50 odd individual accounts for various clients if they are prepared to add my company account as a guest account in AD - soooooo much easier.
Thanks
Patto
Solved! Go to Solution.
SOLVED - after ages of tinkering and shortly after posting above, I worked out how to add the tenancy GUID to the URL to access the admin portal.
For anyone else, you need to navigate to the URL: app.powerbi.com/admin-portal/tenantSettings?ctid={InsertTenancyGuidHere}
Cheers
