Hi all,
I have a sharepoint folder which consist a list of excels. Currently the Power Automate will refresh when this particular "XXX" excel data has been edited. However, i want to improve the flow even more.
Is it possible when a new excel data is inserted into folder. for example today is 11/12. The file name will be "XXX 11/12". I want power BI to take this excel data and update accordingly using Power Automate.
If today is 12/12, the person who insert the excel into sharepoint will have the excel name as "XXX 12/12" and i want power BI to use this folder now.
Please assist thank you!
You can create a Power Automate flow that triggers "when a file is created", give it your folder path, then add the action for "refresh a Power BI dataset" and select your dataset. It's generally more common to just schedule the refresh though.
Hi @PowerBI5
I recommend you use Dataflow and Combine Folder(It will append files automatically). Use the Dataflow for your Power Automate
