Hey there,
I am encountering following problem…
I just created a PowerBI Report and embedded an already existing PowerApp to write back data into an Excel in a Sharepoint folder. The writeback function works perfectly fine, but when I change something in the PowerApp such as a text field or error message, the changes aren’t being applied and displayed in the PowerBI Report.
Already tried deleting the PowerApp visual in PowerBI and then reconnect the PowerApp within a new PowerApp visual, but it doesn’t help. Also tried reloading the PowerBI Report and deleting cache, but nothing works.
My annoying workaround till now was creating a completely new PowerApp and connect it to the PowerBI Report every time I change something in the PowerApp, but this is extremely time consuming.
Do you haven an idea on how to fix this problem?
Kind regards and thank you for your help
Jan
Solved! Go to Solution.
My colleague just found the solution for my problem. I just had to change the live version to the newest version in Power App.
I just had to change the live version to the newest version in Power App.
How did you do this?
Hi @ShinyIon ,
so when you edit your PowerApp new changes won't be published until you publish the latest version of your PowerApp.
Here is a link to the Microsoft Documentation about looking up the currently published version of your App and how to upload the newest version.
