Postgresql schedule refresh fails after credentials (password) change

Hi all,

2 weeks ago we changed credentials (password) on 4 database credentials of 4 different customers and since that all of them are having errors, about 80% of time when trying to initiate scheduled refresh or requested refresh. On the desktop, the refresh works fine. 

We are running Postgresql on AWS (not using RDS).  

I tried to talk to the support and created a ticket, but all they could come up with was to try to refresh it via gateway, which was failing as well, and learning that it is a known issue, which they are working on ... I guess for a while now.

 

The best results from searching online was here, but deleting the global permissions and reuploading didnt help.

    According to the error message you provided, here are some related solutions, please check if they are helpful to you.

    Also, after resetting the data source password, did you update your data source credentials again at the gateway data source configuration? If refresh fails, check the dataset settings. If the gateway service is offline, Status is where you see the error. If Power BI can't sign into the data sources, you see an error in Data Source Credentials.
