Post a dataset quicker without all the data and refresh online.

Hi

I have a very large dataset with several GB of data. This refreshes well in service in a matter of minutes and is working well.

But I want to make changes and the upload time for the dataset is massive. It is taking hours to upload due to the amount of rows.

Is there a way to load the dataset without all the data which I can then quickly refresh in service?

Anybody know a way round this I'd appreciate it, thanks.

That comes down to your upload speed to Power BI Service.  Several GB shouldn't take more than a few minutes with "business" level internet speeds.  If you are in a corporate type setting with an IT department, working with them to test your upload speed and make sure there aren't restrictions.
