Hi everyone,
For a project within my organization we have to track the activities of our users in order to determine the "vitality" of the reports/dashboard that are published on the Power BI Service. Hereby we have utilized the solutions presented in the links below:
https://docs.microsoft.com/nl-nl/power-bi/service-admin-auditing#use-the-audit-log
We have found that the viewing operation in this solution only tracks the corresponding report. So User X has viewed Report Y located in Workspace Z on certain date. However it would be great if we can see which report page has been viewed: User X has viewed Report Page Y1 in Report Y located in Workspace Z on certain date. We know that Power BI Service offers report usage metrics where it is possible to see the amount of viewing activities per report page ( See below).
Therefore my question is: is it also possible to further expand the activities log in the way described above?
And another nice to have answer: Is it possible to see time spent per log entry?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @JustaRookie012 ,
Based on my research, it is not supported yet currently. You can come up with a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.
