Portal slow today?

Is anyone else experiencing issues today (and yesterday) where the PowerBI service site is EXTREMELY slow?

For example, if I go to a workspace it takes 90 seconds to load the page, then when I click publish another 90 seconds waiting for the page to change.

These pages used to load in under 2 seconds without fail.

Hi @OneWithQuestion ,

I have the same experience today 20/05/2021 . In my case the service stayed a long time creating the application. This behavior was the same with another workspaces.

I executed this troubleshooting and works fine for me:

1.Log off in all the navigators that you have saved user or credentials .

2.Close all navigators

3.Open and log in directly on the official Microsoft website. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/
Don't do them from the link of your applications.

4.Log in and search for the workspace or application.

I cannot be sure the source of the failure, but due to the solution that worked well for me, I suspect that there was some problem between the active session, the synchronization and the commonly used browser.

After this troubleshooting it worked without problem in Firefox, Edge, Chrome.

If this doesn't work, you could try clearing Cache.

Successes!.

It was the active session, or some odd cache issue.

Regardless, logging out and clearing the browser cache resolved the issue!

@OneWithQuestion

I have been working on the service but did not experience slowness as such. It could be a data center lag.
If there is any known issue, you can find it here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
You can also raise a ticket to notify.
