Planner Plans in PowerBI Service
Is there any way to NOT SHOW Planner Plans in PowerBI service as a Workspace by default?
Hey Razorbx13 ,
somehow I forgot this: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/roadmap-update-whats-next-for-the-new-workspace-experience-upgrade-in-the-coming-months/
So what you are looking for is close.
Sorry, for the confusion
Regards,
Tom

That's not good, so if you create Plans for your client projects and say you have 100 projects in your firm, you are going to see 100 Workspaces? I assume you only see the Plan workspaces for the Plans you are a member of? Trying to figure out what benefit there is to see that workspace, or if microsoft is doing something for the future.

Hey Razorbx13 ,
the heritage of Power BI workspaces are Office 365 groups, meaning whenever a 365 group is create a workspace has been created, this will not stop. This has also been the other way round creating a Power BI workspace created an O365 group. As far as I know some Power BI Server Admins and O365 Admins have become mad due to this 😉
The new workspace experience (also called V2) will stop creating O365 groups, but not the other way round.
I assume that will it become possible to hide O365 group based workspaces.
This is an older announcement, that also mentions that O365 Groups will not stop to show up: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-upgrade-your-classic-workspaces-to-the-new-workspace-experience-public-preview-is-rolling-out/
