Hi Team,
I work in HPI, we got a request from executives to include NQL(Q&A) in our reports. As per the request we incorporated Q&A Custom Visual, but found no PIN feature in Q&A Custom Visual.
Since PIN feature available in Q&A dashboard view, but when users use this feature in dashboard view will take to new window where users miss the keywords information available in dataset.
Which we provided the keywords information in report page (like field name, metrics available in datset, examples on how to type in search box and also provided some pre-defined questions using Q&A button).
Hope including the pin feature in Q&A custom visual helps the managment life easier to play with data and taking the decisions and sharing.
Requesting you to consider this idea.
Thanks & Regards,
Satyanarayana M
Hi, @satyanarayana_m
Based on my research, It is unsupported to pin a Q&A visual from a report. The Q&A visual behaves like any other visual in a report, it can be cross-filtered/cross-highlighted and also supports bookmarks and comments. You can identify a Q&A visual by its question box across the top. This is where you'll enter or type questions using natural language. The Q&A visual can be used over and over again to ask questions about your data. When you leave the report, the Q&A visual resets to its default. You may refer to the article .
I'd like to suggest you post a new idea in Idea Forum , and add your comments there to improve Power BI for making this feature coming sooner.
Best Regards
Allan
