Pie Chart

Hello all, I have a pie chart in Power BI that displays values in $ and I'm looking to display the values in %.

The field is a text field.  Any suggestions on how to convert this value so it displays in %?  Thanks!

    Babinsky,

If you hover over each slice , it does show % as well as $.  But you want the % to be what shows up as a label, right?

Hi Michele, you are correct.  I need data labels as % and when hovering the chart as $.  It worked for one pie chart but not the other.

      Still trouble shooting

      Thanks all for any suggestions!

        Hi Babinsky,

To show % on data labels for the Pie Chart, you can follow steps below to set Quick Calc for the Values field of your Pie Chart to "Percent of grand total".

        1. Right click the Values field of your Pie Chart, and select Quick Calc.

        2. Choose "Percent of grand total" on Quick Calc window, and click OK.

        Regards

v-ljerr-msft is the right way to do this currently. You'll only need to do it this way a little longer though, as we are adding a formatting pane setting for this in the next update.
