Pie Chart Not Rendering Correctly on Power BI Service

Hi -

I have a pie chart that is displaying the slices properly in Power BI Desktop with 3 slices - image below.

When I publish this dashboard to Power BI Service it no longer shows the 3 slices, but groups everything together - image below.

I can't seem to figure out what the issue is. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

  • I ended up changing a field from TRUE/FALSE to 1/0 and adjusting some fields to account for this and that ended up resolving the issue.

  • Hi PowerBI23456

Can you click on the restet to default button to see if that resolves the issue from your image. It appears like there is a filter on the page?

Unfortunately it's not that. The filters are all the same between both the Desktop view and the Service view.

    Hi PowerBI23456,

Thanks for reaching MS fabric community support.

I tried to repro the scenario you mentioned, i can able to see groupby data report without any issue in PBI service. from your end please make sure to save the report in desktop with filters applied and publish it to PBI service.

Can you please share the sample PBIX file or sample data and eloborate little bit more how you are grouping the data. so, that we will trie to repro and comeup with best possible solution for you.
