Many users have recently noticed that the Personalize Visual pane in Power BI is no longer showing all available columns. When a matrix or table has many fields, the list cuts off and you can’t scroll down to see the rest. This wasn’t an issue before, so it looks like something that changed in a recent update.

At the moment, this behavior is widely considered a UI bug in the latest Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service versions. Microsoft has not officially released a fix yet, but several temporary workarounds can help until they do.

One simple fix is to resize the Personalize pane. If you drag the edge of the pane to make it wider or narrower, Power BI sometimes refreshes the layout and brings back the scroll bar. It sounds basic, but it works for many people.

Another option is to adjust your zoom level. In the Power BI Service, zooming out using Ctrl + - can force the pane to redraw and reveal the hidden fields. You can also try viewing the report in Full Screen Mode, which provides more vertical space and allows the pane to expand properly.

You can also collapse the Rows or Columns sections inside the pane. This frees up space and sometimes makes the rest of the fields visible again. It’s not a full fix, but it helps when you need to access fields quickly.

If none of these help, check whether you have any Preview Features enabled in Power BI Desktop. Some of these features can affect the UI. Try turning them off, restarting Power BI, and seeing if the pane behaves normally again.

In fact, this is not caused by your report or your settings — it is a known issue introduced in a recent update. Using the workarounds above can help until Microsoft releases a proper fix.
