Personal dashboards

We are new to Power BI and having set up a suite of reports for the management team to use we now want each manager to create their own personalised dashboards so they can use them independently from the reports and set their own alerts/Q&A requests through their dashboard, but I have noticed that all dashboards created on a workspace are visible to all users who have access to that workspace. Can we create dashboards that one manager has access to? Is it also possible to pin visuals from more than one workspace into a dashboard?

    No. Dashboards are "public" to those in the workspace, not private, and you cannot create dashboards in other workspaces that pull from other workspaces. Dashboards are restricted to the workspace they are in.

     

    You could create thin reports in other workspaces for the managers, and let them create a dashboard there, so one manager per workspace, but that is a lot of work and super tedious, but possible.
