Personal PowerBi Gateway and On-Premises Data Gateway

For one of our Microsoft project we are using Personal gateway I would like to understand difference between Personal and opn-premises gateway. When should we choose one over other. If someone from powerbi team is open to call would like to have one before do that transition.

    Have you checked the following articles?

    On-premises data gateway
    Power BI Gateway - Personal

    Which mode of gateway should you choose to install? It depends on your requirement. On-premises data gateway can be used by Power BI, PowerApps, Flow or Logic Apps and it can be shared and reused by multiple users. In Power BI, the on-premises gateway can be used for both schedule refresh and DirectQuery.

    However, personal gateway is only for Power BI and can be used as an individual, it is used for on-demand refresh and schedule refresh.
