Personal PowerBi Gateway and On-Premises Data Gateway

    Ghislain The OPD Gateway is a managed gateway. You must create the specific data sources and assign permissions to people who are able to use the data source (thus, Shared).

    The Personal Gateway is tied directly to the user account only.

    Ghislain Managed with mulitple users vs. Personal 1 user

    Also, the OPD Gateway supports additional connection types and data sources that the personal gateway does not.
