Hi everyone !
I'm a new PowerBi user, I read all the documentation but I don't understand the difference between the personal PowerBi Gateway and On-Premises Data Gateway precisely when they say "Multiple users can share and reuse a gateway in the On-premises".
What mean "share a gateway" ?
When you share a report to an another user, you share the gateway ?
Thank's in advance...and I'm sorry for my engligh

@Ghislain The OPD Gateway is a managed gateway. You must create the specific data sources and assign permissions to people who are able to use the data source (thus, Shared).
The Personal Gateway is tied directly to the user account only.

And with a personal gateway, I can create reports and share those report (with the data source). So what's the difference ?
Oh great !!! It's clear now, thank you very much @Anonymous !
Thanks @Anonymous for your answer !
But how the other people can connect to the datasource ?
@Ghislain When you create the data source, there is a tab to add users to the data source. Those people can publish reports using the OPD gateway as the refreshing gateway.
The end user does not come into the mix at all here, this only matters for the report author who needs to schedule refresh of the data or hook up a data source so Direct Query or Live connections work.
