Personal Bookmarks in Power BI report Embedded (embed for your organization (user owns data)).

Hi Folks,

I'm seeking assistance with enabling personal bookmarks in the report I'm embedding. I've successfully created a personal bookmark on Power BI Service, visible below.

However, upon attempting to view this report in the embedded portal, the Personal Bookmarks section is not visible in the Bookmarks pane, as depicted below.

I've utilized the "personalBookmarksEnabled: true" property and ensured that the app has the necessary permissions, including UserState.ReadWrite.All.

Despite following all the steps outlined in the provided link, I'm still unable to view the Personal Bookmarks section in the portal.

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,@Mahesh0016
According to your description, you have set all the parameters according to the linked instructions, but you still can't view the "Personal Bookmarks" section of the portal. There may be several reasons for this that you can investigate:First of all, personal bookmarks are associated with a user's identity. Make sure that the user who created the personal bookmark is the same user who is viewing the embedded report. Personal bookmarks are not shared between users.Secondly, look for any errors in the browser developer console or application logs that may provide more information about the personal bookmarks not being displayed. Finally if the above methods do not resolve your issue, you can refresh the report or clear the cache to verify that the personal bookmarks are working.

Best regards,

Albert He
