Hi Mo_ ,
Power BI does not retain slicer selections made through bookmarks (e.g. slicer panes). Persistent filters only work for slicers placed directly on the visible report page or those in the filter pane.
Your settings (unchecked "Don’t allow end users to save filters") are correct, but bookmark-based slicers don’t participate in persistent filter saving.
To retain slicer selections across sessions:
- Place slicers directly on the report page, not inside bookmark panes.
- Persistent filters only work for visible page slicers and filter pane filters.
- Bookmarked slicer panes reset on reload — this is expected behavior.
