Helper IVPermissions required for refreshing datasets through gateway
Hi,
my understanding is that I need to be a user on a datasource defined in a gateway to be able to publish a report/dataset using this datasource. Also I need to be a user to define a scheduled refresh.
What about a manual refresh? Does a user to be in the list of users for a datasource to be able to do a manual refresh from the report page?

As per the doc
The data source users list controls only who is allowed to publish reports that include data from the data source. Report owners can create dashboards, content packs, and apps, and then share those items with other users.
The users under datasource is mainly used for configure the gateway for that particular dataset. Once the dataset if configured with the gateway, the manual refresh can be done by any users (in other words the users who are not in the part of the datasource also can able to do)
