Passing parameters in PowerBi Embedded

I have a scenario where

(a) PowerBI Reports have been embedded within a portal and

(b) the requirement is that the embedded reports should be filtered based on external users logging in.

For example, if [email protected] logs in to the portal using his userid and passsword, John should only see Microsoft data. Assume all external users do not have any Power BI licenses. The embedded report has been published using an admin account with a Pro License using the ‘Embed for your Customers’ scenario (see link below).
