Passing User Id to Custom API for telemetry

All,

I am building a report by calling a custom Springboot API that calls data from ADX. The API will deployed in Kong API Gateway. The Gateway is enabled for tracking telemetry data.

We wanted to track who is using the dashboard and wanted to pass the user id to the calling API. Is there a way to do it?

Any guidance is appreciated

Hi @Anonymous,

Power bi is a reporting tool, it not able to writeback or sends data to external tools. Maybe you can consider to trace and analysis audit log to collection user activities.
