If I deploy a Power BI Dashboard that lists all my customers, is there a way to take the selected Customer ID and pass that as a query parameter to another report (one that perhaps shows customer orders or some other sort of filtering driven by that selected customer ID)?
Ideally, this second PBI dashboard would use direct query so it would receive the Customer ID from the first dashboard (that had a standard data model) and use it to query the database via direct query.

The cross-report drill through would only filter already loaded data and not use parameters to run and load a SQL query, correct?
Follow up question:
Can I link an SSAS Tabular model to a Direct Query report model? Provided all table and field names are the same?
