Parameters Not Showing up in Service

Hi All, I have a Power BI report connected to an Azure SQL Database through a direct query connection. I have created 2 parameters in it : ServerName & Database , so that I can repoint the report...

Hi Anonymous ,

 

I didn't reproduce your problem, are you sure that the parameters are correctly created in your report?

 

"Parameters haven't been defined for this dataset yet. If you want to set parameters, use the Query Editor."

This error means that your report contains no parameters, So check the parameters in the file again by using the PBI desktop.

This is the Advanced Editor for a table used in the Report (ServerName & DBName are the Parameters) :

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Try to change the value of ‘CreateNavigationProperties’ option to true.
