Hi all,
we have a huge number of paginated reports we have to switch to a Snowflake database. We were told, this is not possible due to missing SSO functionality between PBI and SF.
So, if a users views a paginated report, the credentials are not passed to the database and we can't ensure row-based security.
Is this really true? I mean, why would I have a dedicated Snowflake connector in ReportBuilder without the possibility to secure the Data?

I think that this could possibly that be done with the latest version of paginated reports where you can use power query to access the data Once that is done, you can use the link below to configure single sign on. Connect to Snowflake with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
