Paginated Report visual: Calculation group as parameter

Dear community, 

I have a dataset (import) which contains a calculation group to controls the display between MTD, YTD etc. We call it "Periodicity". 

We have several normal Power BI reports based on this dataset. 

I now created a paginated report in which I have several parameters, one of them is the Periodicity. 

I can use the parameter without any issues when I run the paginated report in "standalone"-mode. 

Issue: 

I have uploaded the paginated report and have embedded it as visual into a Power BI report. 

I can map all parameters but as soon as I add the Periodicity as a Paremeter on the visiual I get the following error

Hi Daniel,

Were you able to get it worked? if yes, than could you please post the solution here. I am also facing similar issue and I need to implement this paginated report in my power bi report so that users can extract more than 1 million records.
