Paginated Report Export to Excel Taking 10+ Minutes

Hi,

 

I have built a paginated report that is taking roughly 10+ minutes to export to excel once published to the server.  It is only 12 KB and 60K rows so should not take this long.  I have searched and searched for a solution but no luck so far.  Has anyone ever experienced this?

What is the data source? if it is 4 billion rows it might be taking 10min to generate the necessary query to export the final result. It gets worse if the data source is a composite or direct query model, or something not optimized for the service.
