Paginated Report - Empty Cells within a group

Hello there,

 

I have built a paginated report using Power BI Report Builder. In there I have a matrix with all my data.

It consits of following groups:

  • 2 Adjacent column groups 'Month' and 'Calender Week'
  • 1 Row Groupd called 'Owner' and 1 child to that group called 'Topic'

Now, the Month is filtered to show the last 3 Months and the Calender Week is filtered to show the last 4 weeks.

However, there are groups (Topics) with empty measures for all Months and Weeks.

I tried removing empty fields by using the Visibility on my 'Topic' group setting it to:  IIF(IsNothing(SUM(Fields!Measure1.Value, "Topic")),True,False)

But that seemed to not have changed a thing.

Does anyone has an idea how to remove Topcs with empty Measure1?

 

PS: My data contains information from several years and within the report I filter on a certain date using a parameter.

    Hi Andre_Cieluch 

    I think some topics have empty results in measure, you want to hide the topics by Rows.

    Due to I don't know your data model. I build a sample to have a test.

    Please check whether you have turned on Show items with no data.

    If you turn it off, the topic with empty measure will be hidden.(all values in this topic should be empty)

    Show items with no data on.

    Show items with no data off.

    Dear Anonymous ,

     

    thank you for your awnser. I believe I didn't make it clear but I am using a paginated report for this task.

    As a data source I connected to my cube and the data set imports the data from that cube.

    An example image of the empty groups is depicted in the attached image, I hope that may help understand my issue.
