Paginated Report Data Source On-Prem SSAS Passthrough Authentication

Is it possible to connect a Paginated Report to an on-prem SSAS data source through an on-prem data gateway and the report use the user's credentials?  Currently it seems to only use the service account setup in Manage Gateways - Data Source Settings.  It ignores the Credentials tab of the Data Source Properties.  The Paginated reports FAQ seems to say this, but I want to confirm.

The version of Report Builder shows as up to date, 15.2.0.0.
