You would only need one master report that contains all Sales, Marketing, and common pages.

I recommend to explore using using the Power BI App audiences to control which pages each group can see when you publish the app. This way, Sales sees their pages plus the common ones, and Marketing sees theirs plus the common ones (without duplication)

Also.. any updates to the common pages automatically apply to all audiences - keeps maintenance simple.

You can handle this using Power BI Apps with audiences. Build your common pages once, then create thin reports for the Sales-only and Marketing-only content, all pointing to the same dataset.

In the App, set up different audiences:

• Sales >> Common + Sales pages
• Marketing >> Common + Marketing pages

This way you don’t have to rebuild the shared pages for each group, and each audience only sees the reports relevant to them.
