PBI service failed to refresh SharePoint excel

Hi,   PBI service has suddenly failed to refresh SharePoint excel with an error which was working fine for last 6 month. "information is needed in order to combine data" however same is getting r...

    Hi  Gugan_BI ,

    Has your problem been solved? When I was conducting an internal inquiry, ICM 252542527 showed that the reason seems to be

    "Issue is caused due to a regression when a feature switch'EimInformationProtectionExcelDataSourceInheritance, EimInformationProtectionExcelDataSourceInheritanceForPremium' was enabled.", now this feature has been disabled.

     

    If it has not been resolved, you can try to publish the report to a new workspace.

    Thank you. Issue resolved. PBI service can refresh SharePoint  excel as before without change in any privacy settings.
