PBI report with parameter that doesn't pop up

Hi, 

 

I created PBI report with parameter and published it over PBI service. The parameter doesnt pop up and user needs to perform multiple actions to finally change the parameter. RestAPI service looks quite complex and isnt user friendly. Is there a way to force pop up window and populate the parameter?

 

Service: Power BI REST APIs API Version: v1.0
