PBI refresh when new Excel file uploaded in Teams

Hello everyone.

Would appreciate some advices regarding this issue.

I recently made a PBI dashboard from an Excel file uploaded in Teams.

Every week, my colleagues will upload a new file with the same template, same headers to reflect our progress for the latest week.

My question is, how do I make the dashboard auto refresh every time my colleagues upload a new file?

Thanks!

Hi. You just can't do it from teams. You need to do it from sharepoint or onedrive. Teams usually uses the personal onedrive of the person sharing files. The best practice would be adding the files in sharepoint folder so both of you have the same permissions. If that's not posible you can give him access to a folder in your onedrive. If you have the files with naming convention and the same columns order and names, then you can do something like this: https://blog.ladataweb.com.ar/post/627427136962281472/powerbi-obtener-datos-de-una-carpeta-de

Conecting to a folder and combining files.

Then any new file will be included in the refresh automatically.

I hope that helps,
