PBI refresh error, Sharepoint List, DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents (500)

I have a sharepoint list that being imported to PowerBI dataset with over 40000 items and have had no problem to refresh until yesterday. I got this error message when refresh both in Service and PBI...

    Hi skip2mylou ,

    After testing by our engineers, we have confirmed that this is a known issue. 
    When connecting to SharePoint list below by using SharePoint list connector 2.0 in power bi desktop. Then issue will occur.
    If there is any follow up on this issue, I will be the first to respond here.

Hi skip2mylou ,

You can navigae to it directly through the SharePoint site to ensure that the SharePoint list is accessible and not corrupted.
The error message you gave is not complete, you can see a more detailed error message in M editor, such as the one mentioned in this case:
