PBI Service asks for gateway when refreshing Databricks dataset.
When refreshing a dataset with a Databricks source in the service, we get the error message below :
Processing error: There is no available gateway.
Cluster URI: WABI-WEST-EUROPE-E-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net
How is it possible that an Azure/Databricks/Cloud source needs a Gateway?
The connection between Power BI desktop and Databricks is done via "Partner Connect" and refreshing in the desktop works fine.
(Gateway installation takes some time in my organisation, so that's no solution right now)

Hi Artefact ,
When you publish a report to the Power BI service, you connect to Azure Databricks using a personal access token. In the Power BI service, you can also enable single sign on (SSO) so that users can access reports built using DirectQuery storage mode by passing their Microsoft Entra ID credentials to Azure Databricks.
