PBI Service as a Data Warehouse
Good day,
I dont have an integration layer db or tool but only PBI directly to an AWS RDS Read Replica
The product data overwrites at times and data is in some areas alrge and others only stored for 6 months
1. How do i use PBI service as a data warehouse?
2. How does data get ingested into the PBI data warehouse to be appended and stored over time?
3. I would like to do some manipulation, like sql views within the PBI service
Kindly advise if this is possible using PBI services and some options please?
Small organization using E5 license with PowerBI Pro

You seem to be describing Fabric capabilities, not Power BI Service.
1, read about datamarts
2. read about incremental refresh.
3. see 1.

Hi lbendlin thank you for assisting
I only have PBI at my disposal, I am tasked to do reporting directly from the aws rds read replica source but it does not allow me to build trending over time when source overwrites.
I recall PBI service a few years back had data stored in the service but my roadmap of a DW failed
Please any ideas?
Is Fabric available for Free as E5 or PBI Pro license, small company with roughly 15 reports
