Hi all,
I'm raising this to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue and to see if someone can point me in the right direction for raising it with Microsoft (I've attempted a few times but keep getting a prompt stating I need a support plan) or raise it for me.
*Note: I've read through the common issues and haven't been able to locate anything similar to this.
Summary:
I have several models published within the same workspace and give users access to select models based on the role they take on - I understand I could do this in an App, but there's a reason that doesn't fit my use case.
Regardless, when I transition from one model to another model I'm finding that the second model I select is showing report options from the first model. This issue continues if I select a third model in that it shows report options from the second. The issue is only resolved when refreshing the 'Manage Permissions' page, at which point it grabs the reports relevant to that model.
I can create a screen recording, but would prefer not to post it publicly.
As a reference, this is the first model I've selected to update permissions on:
And here is the second, from a different model (clearing showing the reports from the first):
And a third, clearly showing the reports from the first:
Not a massive issue, but definitely annoying when updating report permissions.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @c_cook28954,
We are grateful for your participation in the Microsoft Fabric Community forum.
1. Try accessing the workspace in an incognito or private browsing window to see if the issue persists. Also, clear your browser cache and ensure that your Power BI service and any related tools are up to date.
2. Instead of just navigating between models, try refreshing the entire page before switching. As a temporary workaround, you can refresh the 'Manage Permissions' page each time you switch models to ensure the correct report options are displayed.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or if you'd like to discuss this further. If this answers your question, please Accept it as a solution and give it a 'Kudos' so others can find it easily.
Thank you.
Hi @v-priyankata
Thanks for the response.
I'm aware that I can refresh the page, clear cache, etc in order to workaround the issue. I was more interested of informing Microsoft that the issue exists so that they could resolve the root cause - any ideas on how I could do that?

Thanks for following up.
This issue hasn't been resolved and I don't have a support plan which appears to be required to raise a ticket.
Given the above, I don't see how the issue is going to get resolved.
