Hi,
I was wondering if there might be a bug with the parameters when using deployment rules (the parameter in the datamodel is setup as a list with 2-3 items). First time upload and pushed through the pipeline it was a simple parameter with one value. I changed it later to a list with 2-3 values (for different workspace-id or flow-id).
After the parameter was changed to a list, in the setup of the deployment rules, I still cannot select the 2-3 items which should be listed with the parameter.
Here the current view of the drop down of the parameter. It should show the 2-IDs of the flow.
Same parameter in PBI-Desktop (Manage Parameters):
I did the same for dataflows and there it seems to work fine (but the parameter was setup as a list from the beginning).
Any ideas are welcome. I will try to setup a new parameter as list right from the beginning, see if that will show differently in the pipeline.
Any help is appreciated.
BR
Daniel

Hi @Danalber ,
In this parameter drop-down list, although multiple parameters are listed, currently only one is supported. If you want to have multiple values, you can merge the data yourself and then select. For more considerations and limitations about deployment rules, you can refer to the document: Create deployment rules for Fabric's Application lifecycle management (ALM) - Microsoft Fabric | Mic....

This query is marked as solved but I dont see any solution here. Is it wrongly marked as solved?
Hi, well there is no real solution which would probably required changes on MS side. But once you add the additional parameter values in the drop down of the pipeline you can select between them. Would be more convenient if you can upload it with the model but unfortunately that doesn't work at the moment.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thank you very much for your reply. I actually only want to use one parameter value at a time, but I should be able to select one of the parameters in the list. It works for the parameters in a dataflow, but it didn't work in my datamodel.
Although when I checked the parameters of the datamodel today, they show 2 values and I can select either one of them. So either with the last refresh it got fixed or it was just a temporary issue. Hope next time it works right away.
Have a great day.
BR Daniel
For Reference, this is how it should look like (picture from parameters for dataflow):
