PBI Gateway personal - alternate credentials

Hi,

As visible in the picture below I use alternate credentials for SQL server connection. Then I have second windows account where is my PBI Pro license assigned but I cannot use the alternate account when setting up connection via my PBI Gateway because I have only authentication options Basic and Windows without Impersonation. How can I use my alternate credentials when using PBI Gateway? The report is the same.

 

Data source credentials automatically uses PBI Pro account and I can't enter my alternate windwos account.

 

Can this be done with personal gateway?

    Hi kap_55 ,

    When you connected to Desktop, can you refresh successfully? And please check if the version of Personal Gateway is latest. Sometimes the issue will be caused by the old version.

      Yes, the Gateway is the latest version because I reinstalled it and in Desktop I can refresh successfully.
