PBI Gateway offline Alert/ Notification

Hi,

 

Can i check if there is a option to get notified when PBI Gateway goes offline?

 

please advise

    Hi there

    Currently there is no way to know this.

    What I currently do, is to have monitoring on the server where I have got the Power BI Gateway running, and if that server goes down I get alerted which lets me know that the Gateway will then be down.

      GilbertQ - Would able provide your guidance on how did uset up the monitoring at the server level, if the service goes down.

        Hi there

        Depending on where your server is, you could use systems like SCOM and have an agent running. I would suggest looking into your IT team and what monitoring software they have.
