PBI Gateway Request using SSRS

Hi Team,

 

We have a data source for a Power BI dataset this is a separate SSRS report. We are unable to get access to the full database used by the SSRS report, so we need to import the SSRS file as a data source.

 

I have setup a ‘Web’ connection in Power BI desktop that will connect to the SSRS web server and download the data as a CSV file. The URLs are static and would not change. The details are:

 

Can a gateway be setup for the SSRS file as a data source?

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    As far as I know it is not possible to query the data from an SSRS report as this will store the data as HTML. As well as the SSRS server is not available on the internet.

     

    And I do not think it is possible to access internal web pages via the Gateway.
