PBI Desktop doesn't sync dataset from Web App
Hello Friends,
I am very new to PBI. I am using a free version to learn and test. Here is my situation.
- I have created a dash board and report in web app.
- now i have downloaded a desktop app and singed in with the same username.
But I dont see my dash board or report or dataset in Desktop App.
Doesnt it not sync with web app?
Please advise.

No, the Desktop does not sync with the Service. You generally create a dateset and report in the Desktop and then publish it to the Service. It does not flow the other direction.

arifuddin In Power BI Desktop you must to click "File" and "Publish" to your account.

Actually I have found the solution. I missed the very basic job. I worked in my Laptop and saved the file in my laptop. When I logged in from my desktop I though it should be synced.
Now I logged in from my laptop and found the file.
