PBI App and row Level Security

Hello,

 

I need to fix a issue where images are not displaying on my PowerBi App.

 

The fix that has been reccomended is to unpublish the app and then republish it.

 

Now i dont want to do this as ive got approx 50 users setup for access to the App and also 50 users setup to RLS.

 

So if i unpublish and republish, will i loose any security settings?

    Normally, if you haven't changed the dataset which has been set with RLS, when you unpublish and republish, the RLS should not be affected.

      I havent tired this yet

      how about the users ive given access to on the App? if i unpublish and republish will these users be removed??

        If you unpublish the app and then publish an new app you need to re-add the users and give the permission.
