Hi @itsranga

To fix the Premium Capacity Metrics App refresh error:

  1. Update the App: Ensure you’re using the latest version of the app.
  2. Reinstall the App: Delete and reinstall it from the Power BI App Marketplace.
  3. Check Admin Settings: Verify telemetry and metrics collection in the Power BI Admin Portal under Capacity Settings.
  4. Check for Outages: Visit Power BI Support for any ongoing issues.
  5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, share the error details (Activity ID, Request ID, etc.) with Microsoft Support for resolution.

Since you can’t edit the dataset, the issue is likely on Microsoft’s side.

The error occurs because Column1 is missing or renamed in the data source, causing the refresh to fail. Since the Premium Capacity Metrics dashboard dataset cannot be edited:

  1. Reinstall the App: Delete and reinstall the "Premium Capacity Metrics" app from Power BI Apps to refresh with the latest schema.
  2. Check Source Schema: Verify if Column1 exists or has changed in the underlying API or data source.
  3. Custom Monitoring: Use the Power BI REST API to create a custom capacity monitoring report if needed.
  4. Contact Support: Provide the Activity ID, Request ID, and Cluster URI to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

If urgent, use Microsoft's Capacity Metrics Report Template for monitoring.

Hi. The premium capacity metrics has been deprecated. If you want to measure your dedicated capacity now you should use the Fabric Capacity Metrics App.

More info: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/enterprise/metrics-app

I Hope that helps,
