Ownership of report

Hi,

When you currently publish a power bi report to the online version you become the owner of the report. Is there a way to set the ownership as a service account that is not set to a particular user so when a user leaves the company it doesnt stop the reports from refreshing.

Thanks

Hey @karma123 ,

Unless you publish the file as the service account, you will have to add the service account to the Workspace as an admin.  Then, within the Workspace, sign in as the service account, go to the dataset, go to the settings and then look at the top line that states "This dataset has been configured by 'user id'"  and select the "Take Over" option as the Service Account.
